E.& G.G. Hook and Hastings

I was called by a church to go see an organ that was listed in the Diapason for sale.  They wanted the perfect organ for their church that was built in the 1960's.  I went and found it to be a fine example of Hook and Hastings and the perfect organ for the church in Eldon, Missouri.

This organ was removed from the Christian Science Church in Logansport Indiana.  We moved it to our shop and restored it.  Then it was installed into the United Methodist church in Eldon, Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks.  We added a 4' Octave, 2' Super Octave, a Great Mixture III, and a 2' Harmonic Flute in the Swell.  Most of the new ranks were from an organ built by Hook a year later, so tonally they fit very well into this one.
