Fischer Pratt Read Player Piano

The player system in this piano was completely restored.  We refinished the spoolbox, polished all the brass, and did total interior player restoration. All new leather, felt, and rubber cloth.  All regulation to factory specs.  Cost of this work at the time ran normally $4,500.00.   

The piano part was completely restored as well.  We kept some of the original parts, but they were refelted.  New butts, all new springs, new dampers and spring flanges.  There is nothing left to wear out within 30-50 years.  Strings and soundboard were refurbished.  Cost of the action and soundboard work was at that time $3,000.00

It has a new lacquer finish as well.  Cost of new lacquer finish was $1,500.00.  Our usual electric light for the roll was installed along with an electric pump with volume control for foot or electric operation.  There is also a mandolin rail.  The electrics are normally $450.00

Our normal 5 year guarantee went with this one as is standard in all our instruments.

It sold to a great customer in California.
