Fischer Pratt Read 88-note Player Piano
Player piano in top condition w/ warranty (printed below)
Pictures below let them load, please.
You never saw an ebay player piano in this condition before. You are used to seeing unrestored players for hundreds or thousands. some sell, some don't. This is not like those. Players have a reputation of always needing something done to them. That is incorrect if the piano has been completely restored like we do it in our player piano shop. We have been doing these instruments for over thirty years. We warranty every one that we rebuild for 5 years. We will pay your local piano tuner to tune it in your home once within the first six months. We will send you 12 rolls to go with it --our choice. More rolls are available all over, even on the net.
If you never heard of D.L. Bullock or The Piano World in St. Louis search your favorite search engine for either name and see what others think of us and our work. We contribute regularly to MMD (Mechanical Music Digest) and consult with folks all over the world concerning their player piano problems.

This is a Fischer upright piano with an 88-note Pratt Read player system in it from the factory built in the twenties.

All new piano action. There is nothing left to wear out in 30 to 50 years. Strings and soundboard were refurbished. The cost of action work is normally $3,000.00. Player restoration has been complete: all new leather, felt, & rubber cloth. All regulation to factory specs. Cost of player work is normally $4,500.00. Completely new finish job. New lacquer finish to original color. The cost of finish work is normally $1,500.00 but not today. All work was done by our top craftsmen with decades experience. It pedals like a dream, plus the electric motor lets you play it while you do other things. At home I like to play the player piano while I vacuum since that is the only music that can be heard over your normal vacuum cleaner. When I just play the player piano I prefer to pedal it myself. I also added an electric light in the spoolbox to help with reading the words when singing.
The only thing that did not need to be done was the restringing. If we had done that the price would have been over $15,000.00 as that is what we sell them for.
Payment must be made within 10 days of sale end. We take Visa/MC/Discover, check, cashiers check or money order If personal check is used then piano will not be available for pick up until the check clears in 10 days. We will assist with putting the piano in your truck. Or we will set up moving with a national piano mover for dealers only. You will have to pay them, not us and their check will clear before they will schedule the move. They only move from us to a piano store or moving and storage company. You must have your local piano mover take it from there to your house unless it goes to a commercial district. They have recently moved pianos for me from here in St. Louis to NY or LA for $600.00--$700.00 plus your local mover's fee. Free moving if within 100 miles of St. Louis
We
warranty all restoration and new parts except electric motor for 5 years.
We don't like to do warranty work so we try to make sure we won't have to do
any. That is why our quality is so high.
Many folks are afraid to buy sight unseen because they don't know if all the work inside was done. I took this player apart last month to take pics so you know for sure what is inside.
