NEW ITEMS:

Hall of Shame

Blotter paper

is used as gasket material on many instruments.  This is the medium weight and can be doubled for replacing the very thick blotter paper.  It is 80 weight blotter paper. It is very good quality, not like the stuff in the art supply stores. It is also the exact thickness as that used on Duo-Art valve gaskets and many other places in our craft and that of pipe organs.

Each sheet is 19" x 24" I can sell it for $5.00 per sheet.  Minimum of 4 sheets per order.  I have dies made for a few original blotter paper gaskets and can supply them:

Duo-Art valve gaskets for cross valves (square with round holes)

Pianola valve gaskets (round with round holes) The originals were pouch leather, but I suggest blotter paper instead a the later ones were made from blotter.

Blotter paper 19" x 24" sheet.         $  5.50 ea.

Blotter paper gaskets precut

Duo Art Cross valve gaskets           $14.00 per hundred

(approx. 200 needed for full Duo Art)

Pianola push up valves                    $14.00  per hundred

AEolian organ early valves              $14.00 per hundred

If you think a good technician is expensive, just try a bad one.
