Milton Standard Player Piano
Many pics below, let them load, please
This piano is one that I have had for a couple of decades. I restored it for myself and then I gave it to Mom and Dad until they wanted to replace it with a computer desk. I got it back and found that it no longer worked very well. I was shocked since I had restored it only 12 years before. My restorations usually last 30 years. I discovered that the Player Piano Company bellows cloth was no longer airtight. I had to recover the bellows again and I went through it completely top to bottom. It now is back to its best condition. We now use much better bellows cloth from Australia and we know it will last 50 years.
Piano action has been refurbished. Has original ivory (repaired and polished.) Player restoration has been complete: all new leather, felt, and rubber cloth. All regulation to factory specs. Newer finish job to light walnut color is a few years old. Electric power, not only foot powered. Mandolin rail installed as well. Electric light lights the words on the roll for singing. We add that, too.
The original hammers have been voiced so they do not sound like old hammers. Some buyers may want us to replace the hammers with new. This is a $200.00 option that you may request after purchase.
The only thing that did not need done was the restringing. If we had done that the price would have been over $15,000.00 as that is what we sell them for.

You never saw an ebay player piano in this condition before. You are used to seeing players on ebay. Some sell, some don't. But you are suspicious. You never quite know what condition they really are in. This is not like those. Players have a reputation of always needing something done to them. That is incorrect if the piano has been completely restored like we do it in our player piano shop. We have been doing these instruments for over thirty years. We warranty every one that we rebuild for 5 years. We will pay your local piano tuner to tune it in your home once within the first six months. We will send you 12 rolls to go with it --our choice. More rolls are available all over, even on the net...many sell on Ebay.
If you never heard of D.L. Bullock or The Piano World in St. Louis search your favorite search engine for either name and see what others think of us and our work. We contribute regularly to MMD (Mechanical Music Digest) and consult with folks all over the world concerning their player piano problems.
Payment must be made within 10 days of sale end. We take Visa/MC/Discover, check, cashiers check or money order If personal check is used then piano will not be available for pick up until the check clears in 10 days. We will assist with putting the piano in your truck. Or we will set up moving with a national piano mover for dealers only. You will have to pay them, not us and their check will clear before they will schedule the move. They only move from us to a piano store or moving and storage company. You must have your local piano mover take it from there to your house unless it goes to a commercial district. They have recently moved pianos for me from here in St. Louis to NY or LA for $600.00--$700.00 plus your local mover's fee. Free moving if within 100 miles of St. Louis
We
warranty all restoration and new parts except electric motor for 5 years. (see
below) We don't like to do warranty work so we try to make sure we won't have to do
any. That is why our quality is so high.
