NEW PIANOS This page is for new pianos available in our showroom. Right now we have only one left of a shipment of about 30 new pianos. It is an odd one. It was left in damp weather in the shipping to us. We had three of these. They were the largest Studio the company made. The name on this is Schubert. The piano was built in the Belarus factory and is normally thought of as a poor quality piano. However, because of the dampness, this piano was badly rusted in the strings. Our shop was afraid to tune it until we restrung it. We restrung it and went through everything so that any deficiency left from the Belarus factory has been made right. It is now a far better piano than any Belarus studio you can ever get anywhere. It has Louis Renner hammers. All the key leveling and dipping and regulation that you do not expect to be right from a Belarus has been redone correctly to modern standards. Because of its large size and the extra work we did on it it sounds unbelievable. Basically we are giving you the piano and charging for the extensive work done on it. It was too good a piano under there to throw it away because of some rust. Price should be $4,500.00 Sale price $2,290.00
