Weber Concert grand piano
(lots of pictures give them time to load, please)

Many musicians felt Weber was a finer instrument than Steinway in its day. This one still is.
None of the restoration work on this piano was done in our shop, but I have seen and heard it and it is a great piano. This belongs to a fine pianist friend of ours in St. Louis. He is ready to sell it so he can move without moving this big beauty. At just under 9' long this Weber with Serial number 12975 was built in 1899. It is in gloss black--a professional job done a few years ago. It has new hammers from only a few years ago. It was restrung by a St. Louis local legend among piano technicians under ten years ago. It has a HUGE sound with a growling bass and a singing treble. It has the original action which was recently regulated by another local technician.
It has a crack in the music desk tray that needs gluing and it needs the screws put back into the hinges as you see in the pics. It was removed to facilitate repair of the crack.
The lid apron has a 2 inch by 2 inch spot that is missing veneer seen in pics. The soundboard was repaired when it was strung. The repairs are well hidden for the most part. The most obvious repair is shown in the pics, but it is not readily noticeable. It has spade legs. Custom bench is included.
Free moving if within 100 miles of St. Louis

Custom bench included

Bass bridge is in perfect shape

New tuning pins and understring felt with the new strings

Treble bridge is in perfect condition

Music rack is unattached, Desk has crack at far left. Easily repairable

This is the more obvious soundboard repair. It is not very noticeable

There is no reserve on this piano so someone will get a bargain. You are welcome to visit the piano and hear for yourself the gutsy sound of this concert grand piano.
If there is anything more you want done to this piano once you see it, Piano World can do the work before it leaves for your concert hall.
Payment must be made within 10 days of sale end. We take Visa/MC/Discover, check, cashiers check or money order If personal check is used then piano will not be available for pick up until the check clears in 10 days. We will assist with putting the piano in your truck. Or we will set up moving with a national piano mover for dealers only. You will have to pay them, not us and their check will clear before they will schedule the move. They only move from us to a piano store or moving and storage company. You must have your local piano mover take it from there to your house unless it goes to a commercial district. They have recently moved pianos for me from here in St. Louis to NY or LA for $600.00--$700.00 plus your local mover's fee.
